ABOUT THE WEBINAR
Major employment law changes are now in force (from 21 February). They may reduce some personal grievance exposure, but they also create new trip‑wires for employers if you get the rules wrong.
Topics Covered:
- Personal grievance remedy reductions, including the “serious misconduct” threshold
- Contractor vs employee: the new “gateway test” (and what happens if you don’t meet every criterion)
- The end of the 30-day collective rule and what this changes for new employees
- The $200,000 threshold for unjustified dismissal claims (including timing and what counts towards the $200k)
- What you should review now (agreements, policies and onboarding)
A focused, practical session on what’s changed and what to do next.
Cost: $45 + GST per organisation (share link with colleagues to individually register within your organisation, invoice emailed after the event)
Payment: You will be invoiced once the session is completed.
Questions can be submitted in advance to [email protected] or raised during registration.
