The Fair Pay Agreement (FPA) system is up and running (1 December 2022). This means unions are now able to apply to MBIE to negotiate a FPA for an industry or occupation. Supermarkets, hospitality, bus drivers, security guards, commercial cleaners and early childhood education are all sectors the unions have already started applications for.
