Answers B & C: Once you have heard the information you are obliged to consider this information and act on it appropriately during the investigation. The employee can ask for corrections to be made to any information recorded incorrectly.

Regarding Option D:  Whilst you cannot force an employee to participate there is an implied duty of fidelity on the employee to answer questions relating to an incident in the workplace to support the employer resolving the issue.
